Class of 2026

Abhinandan 2026, held on 14 May 2026, was a special celebration organised to honour the graduating Class of 2026 at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. The event served as a memorable occasion for students to come together one final time before embarking on the next phase of their personal and professional journeys.

The evening commenced with inspiring addresses by distinguished dignitaries, including Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Prof. Braj Bhushan, Prof. Amey Karkare, and Prof. Ketan Rajawat. The celebration was further enriched by special messages from the Board Members of the Alumni Association — Mr. Tarun Bhargava, Ms. Vijaya, and Mr. Virendra Kumar — who shared their best wishes and words of encouragement with the graduating students.

To commemorate this important milestone, the IITK Alumni Association, the Office of Resources and Alumni, and the Outreach Cell of IIT Kanpur jointly organised a special graduating dinner in honour of the Class of 2026. The evening provided an opportunity for students, faculty members, alumni, and guests to interact, reflect, and celebrate the journey shared over the years at IIT Kanpur.

Abhinandan 2026 concluded on a heartfelt note, celebrating not only academic accomplishments but also the lifelong connections and memories that define the IIT Kanpur experience. The institute and alumni community extend their best wishes to the graduating batch as they step forward to create meaningful impact across the world.

Class of 2025

Abhinandan 2025 was held on 10th May 2025 to celebrate and honour the graduating Class of 2025. It was a heartfelt and enriching experience that brought the batch together one last time before they stepped into a new chapter.

The evening began with inspiring addresses by esteemed dignitaries Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Prof. Braj Bhushan, Prof. Amey Karkare, Prof. Ketan Rajawat, and Mr. Jai Shanker Sharma. A special virtual message from Mr. Rakesh Sharma, President of the Alumni Association, added warmth and encouragement to the occasion.

To mark this milestone, the IITK Alumni Association, the Office of Resources and Alumni, and the Outreach Cell of IIT Kanpur came together to organize a special graduating dinner in celebration of the Class of 2025.

The dinner was filled with shared laughter, heartwarming conversations, and moments that will be cherished forever.

Students also created a nostalgic Memory Lane an exhibit showcasing highlights from the past four years. It brought forth smiles, a few tears, and a deep sense of gratitude and belonging.
